The Land Where the Crow Flies Backwards reflects on the fragile mortality of all living beings; both human and animal. A collection of fleeting moments, images that sit within the wider context of the vast and ancient land that is outback Australia.
The series follows the Murray-Darling Basin in a time of increasing uncertainty as the land is plagued by drought and society falls into a state of flux. Here, the fragility of life is an everyday reality. His work attempts to examine human relationships in this immense and isolated landscape and the population’s impact on the natural world.
