Are you looking to understand the foundations of photography? Would you like to learn how to use your digital camera from an award-winning photographer?
During this series of workshops, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the technical fundamentals of photography from photographer, Fiona Wolf. You will learn how to use your camera in manual mode - the first step to harnessing your creativity and embracing the craft of photography.
This intensive course will cover the following topics:
- How to use your camera’s controls
- How to shoot using manual mode
- Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO
- Composition and Framing
- Colour and White Balance
- Intro to Post Production (file types, file management)
This course is for beginners or for those who would like to refine their technical skills whilst learning more about photography.
Equipment Requirements: DSLR, mirrorless camera or a digital camera with full manual capabilities. Please bring your camera’s instruction manual along to the workshop. If you are unsure, please email us and one of our helpful team members will determine if your camera model is suitable for the class.
Dates: 6th February 2020 10am - 4pm & 20th February 10am - 12pm
Total - 8 Hours Incl. lunch
During the last session, you will discuss the work produced over the course with your tutor and fellow students.
